We had dinner there today as a team, and we enjoyed the food and there was also a nice wait staff. Can recommend it. When the weather is great, you can also dine comfortably outside.

Waitress was very busy and was alone in the largest establishment, and yet the food was good and quickly on the table. Hats off. Very friendly. The owner should hire a colleague for the service. Gladly again

We opted for the daily recommendation advertised on the board, although the price was (wisely) not noted. The ambience is pleasant, the service was quick and friendly. The food was tasty, but not the high-flyer, but rather average - accordingly, the price of € 21.40 per portion (!) Blew me away for schnitzel with chanterelles and French fries and a few leaves of rokula ... violent Spreewald- Premium, I would say. Next time we'd rather look at the menu. Therefore only 3 stars, unfortunately.

The food was very good. Ambience normal, bourgeois. Price-performance ratio was also right. We had an earlier meal time, didn't have to wait long. The service was very nice. And hats off to her, she's doing everything on her own at the moment ... Gladly again

We knew from the reviews that there would be waiting time before eating. But we were compensated for the delicious and especially fresh food. Unfortunately, there is only one condition in the restaurant that has to be busy, but it still keeps the shop going.

We had reserved with 14 people (including 5 children) in advance by telephone. When we arrived, we were welcomed in a very friendly manner and shown outside. A large row of tables had been prepared here. The menus were brought to us immediately and we could choose the drinks in peace. The offer was convincing. The order of the drinks was quick and we didn't have to wait long for said drinks. We were given good advice when we asked for food and special requests were also catered for, especially for the children. While we were waiting for the meal, the waitress often came by to take any reorders for the drinks. It's very friendly and courteous. The food was brought relatively promptly. Everyone was very satisfied with their food, plentiful and very tasty. Towards evening the outside area is nicely lit and you sit a short distance from the old city wall, very nice and rustic. All in all, it was a very nice evening. I would especially like to highlight the very nice and friendly service. I like to come here again. Lars Zobel

Absolutly delicious Schnitzel and a really nice lady serving.

Not to be recommended at all! Flabby and partly charred fried potatoes, pure mustard on carelessly prepared meat testify to semi-professionalism. Penetrating flavors, really not appetizing. Regarding Corona: No documentation of the guests, table not cleaned / disinfected - visibly unclean. No card that could be cleaned - instead, a "germ collector" stapled, worn and soiled A4 sheets of paper. The service was polite but obviously overwhelmed with the overall situation. Submitted an apology from the cook, advising that a meal on the bill will be waived. - But that's not what it was about: We only wanted something reasonably acceptable on our plate at lunchtime. Instead we left this place with several uneasy feelings. Quintessence: This establishment books decent prices for poor quality, even the bill, which shows an extra portion of chanterelles as a "drink" at EUR 8.90, shows the listlessness. Why is the experience presented in such detail? First of all, it was a really bad experience; secondly, nobody should associate anything like that with the beautiful city of Lübben and thirdly, I am still tormented by a considerable stomachache since leaving this inhospitable place ... enjoy the meal!

We ate with 4 people and asked for additional cream sauce, either you have it or say that it is not available as an extra. We got a sauce boat with cream warmed up in the microwave, some salt and pepper, and with 3 people we paid 7.50 euros for it. That is very overdone, if it had been boiled sauce would have been ok, but that's just a rip off. The operator should also have a bit clean fingernails, that doesn't make the best impression. We definitely do not recommend this place!

The food tasted okay, all in all there was a lack of salt. In terms of price it was at the limit of what was acceptable. 80 € for 4 people, including a children's plate and a total of only 4 drinks, is just within the scope.

A very, very good restaurant for everyone who likes to eat German. The schnitzel has a very good size and it also tastes very good. Very nice service and also a very, very good value for money. I would eat here again anytime. There is something for everyone here. I hope I could help.

Recommended restaurant because: excellent food, well presented and deliciously seasoned and courteous staff. Thank you, other restaurants in the city must be pre-ordered. Here you can find space inside and outside and will not be sent away 😊

Unfortunately you cannot give 0 ⭐️! We have never been to such a miserable restaurant! We had to pay far too much for the little food on the plate that our children couldn't even get enough of! On the menu are drinks that are not available but are offered as such! Outrageous and pure rip off !!

Excellent food, very nice owner. Local place, but I will go back if we're in the neighbourhood.

Good food and friendly

It's always a same problem with the tourist hot spots in the Spreewald, maybe they are crowded and too expensive, or they are so far off the tourists trails that nobody finds there. Lübben is one of the hotspots for the Spreewald, just because the city can be reached within less than an hour from Berlin by car. If you stay in town for a few days, the question comes up, where you can eat well and cheaply. Because the hotels with their restaurants scare you away with heavy prices. So you better look for a small restaurant, like the Bubak, which lives from the local food and with a normal cuisine quickly served to the hungry guests. And of course, the beer here is very healthy and can be enjoyed well chilled. So if you want to eat like a local ... here you are right and welcome. Maybe we'll come again.

Nice restaurant with green terrase. Very delicious cuisine, kind servants. Good for seniors and families with kids.
